Fall Fun Festivities

So this year the kids and I got a chance to double our fun with the Fall Festivities.  We went to Hee Haw Farms in Pleasant Grove and Wheeler farm up in Salt Lake area.  The Kids had a great time looking at all the animals and riding the huge, can I say a little scary slide.   Kate could get enough of it, if I let her she would have been there all night long.  The farm was as my sister stated in her blog a little "Jenky".  It was just not a very natural looking farm, more put together or set up for the fall time, not a normal natural farm setting.  The Kids loved  it though they had so much fun riding the animal ride, riding the tire horses and looking at all the huge pumpkins.  The kids after a while were getting fussy so we went to Macy's to pick out their own pumpkins to carve later that week.  The kids had a blast looking threw all the pumpkins to find just the right one.  We sure did get some really odd looking shaped ones this year, which can I say made for some cool jack-o-lanterns.  I know there are lots of pictures so bare with me on this entry, I just couldn't decide what to use, so enjoy...Keep reading below!

The very next day we went to Wheeler farm with Jerry's parents and sisters, to do similar fall fun things.  Caleb is was obsessed with everything tractors, at both locations he had to sit on and try everyone out.  He  is all boy can I just say.  We first went through a little hay/corn maze, where Caleb had to show Grandpa every little decoration displayed along the way.  Caleb also enjoyed sitting on Pa Pa shoulders and telling him which direction to go.  Next we picked out pumpkins and went on a a really neat Wagon/Hayride the kids really enjoyed riding and looking at all the ducks and fall leaves along the way.  After two days of fall fun, can I just say we where a little worn out, put we sure had a great time doing it.  Thanks family for the good time and great memories this Fall season.

Jane 10 months old

Love those Blue eyes
Jane enjoys listening to stories read to her.
Jane is pulling herself up on the furniture

Jane Loves to Wave at everyone she see!

Jane is now 10 months old, she has had a busy month. She started crawling at the end of last month, and the day she turned 10 month on the 1st, she started pulling up and walking a few steps along the furniture. She is working on her two top teeth they are not quite in yet, almost. Jane is starting to babble and talk more, she has gotten really good at signing all done and more and eat. She loves to have you read books to her. Jane newest and biggest thing she loves to do is wave at you and say hi in her baby talk, along with one of her big grins. You are extra special if you get a double handed wave. She loves to laugh and giggle at you when you giggle at her. She sometimes laughs so hard she almost seem like she might cry but doesn't, it so hilarious. She loves to sit and play with her brother and sister and be part of the action. She loves to smile and laugh with them, especially in the car. That reminds me, when Jane gets super fussy in the car, every time you put the song on by Taylor Swift called "Our Song", she instantly stops crying. It's true if you listen to a song often enough when there in the womb they do remember it. Kate was really into singing and learning the words to Taylor's song at the time,so we played it a lot. It's a strange concept but it really works, it calms her down every time. Jane's hair is all over the place she hates to keep bows in her hair and I can't pull it back yet it's too thin, her hair is a lot different then my two older kids. Jane is such a sweet baby, we is always so mellow when we go to the store, she is such and easy going baby. On the flip side when she is tired and done, she will let you know. Jane's only big struggle is sleeping through the night. She is a very light sleeper and her front teeth seem coming in seem to really bother her. Once they come in I am hoping she will sleep better. In the food area she loves peaches the best, a long with Cheerio and Puffs. She has just started eating tiny soft carrots and apple bits and wagon wheels. Jane enjoys being able to feed herself. Kate calls her Janey, Caleb calls her BABY and Grandma calls her twinkle toes, because when she is excited she rolls her feet and toes in a big circle. Aunt Amy calls her Eine, short for Einstein, because of her crazy hair. There is so many cute things to love about Miss Jane, I simply call her Jane, because That is who she is....Jane we love you!

Fall is in the Air

Each year since our family moved to Utah (who ever was in town at the time), would go up American Fork Canyon and take pictures in the pretty fall trees. The leaves are so beautiful this time a year. The children enjoyed collecting leaves sticks and rocks, from the kids perspective it was a huge nature hunt with few frustrating pictures to have to stop and smile for. The adults on the other had wished the kids would have stopped to smile a little more and a little longer, all ways a good time can I say. Good times, Good times!
